Used cars tyres utilization is one of the world’s ecological problems. Used tyres recycling has not only ecological, but economical meaning too. Despite every year growing relevance of the problem, globally the used tyres utilization problem is not solved. According to the specialists’ estimation, 5 millions used tyres emergent per year in Europe and America.
Industry and transport apace develop in the world nowadays. For the growing quantity of production many indefectible scraps emerge, which for a long time pollute environment. One of them - used tyres. The solution of this ecological problem is recycling of used tyres.
JSC “Metaloidas” in the year of 2004 at the plot, which is in Pakruojo street 44, in Siauliai city built and exploit used tyres recycling plant (1600 sq. m.). According to the newest European Union standards in the companies territory is appointed the field for used tyres storage where “JSC “Metaloidas’ saves 580 tons of used tyres.
JSC “Metaloidas” issues the note for scraps receiving and scrap utilization note, which is certified by LR Environmental Ministry and wherefore economies subjects are dispensable from the tare/ product tax. (www.am.lt)
